About the Programme

Babcock Mission Critical Services España SA. is seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our Software Engineering Graduate Programme. As a Graduate Digital Systems Engineer, you will be part of a multi-disciplinary team responsible for designing, developing, and delivering complex software systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop software solutions for a variety of projects, from desktop applications to measurement systems on critical infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand system requirements and ensure software integration.
  • Work on a range of projects, from small-scale audio consoles to large-scale handling systems on complex systems.
  • Contribute to the design, specification, implementation, and testing of software and associated systems.
Requirements
  • BEng/BSc (Hons) degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline, ideally accredited by the IET.
  • Ability to achieve BPSS and Security Clearance.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Location

Places on our Software Engineering programme are available in our Marine – Mission Systems business in Bristol. Babcock's Mission Systems business designs and delivers complex solutions for our customers, and in areas such as High Frequency Communications we are world leaders. Your home base will be Bristol, but some of your placements may be at other Babcock locations.
