About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced Programme Manager to join our team at Data Careers Ltd. As a Project Portfolio Manager, you will be responsible for delivering sustainable building projects and providing strategic guidance to our organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct a thorough assessment of current and future operational requirements, including personnel, vehicles, and facilities.
- Evaluate the condition and suitability of a site that is no longer fit for purpose, providing a cost-benefit analysis for refurbishment, rebuilding, or relocation options.
- Develop project plans with indicative timeframes, costs, and resource requirements to inform strategic decision-making.
- Direct a team of Project Managers and Business Analysts to support the delivery of a comprehensive recommendations report.
- Utilize expertise in needs assessment, resource allocation, and the management of large-scale refurbishments and new builds.
- Collaborate effectively with stakeholders to translate operational needs into comprehensive project requirements.
- Prepare and present high-quality reports to senior leadership, showcasing expertise in stakeholder management.
- Possess a strong understanding of Programme Management principles, with a certification in MSP/Prince2 or equivalent.
Requirements:
- Proven track record of delivering successful projects in a public sector organisation.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote/on-site environment.
