Bennett & Game Recruitment is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team in the Slough area. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining diesel fuel injection components for injectors and pumps.
Key Responsibilities:- Clean, disassemble, and assemble diesel fuel injection components
- Use chemical and mechanical cleaning equipment with fuel injection components
- Control test procedures and record data using computer systems and software
- Use measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, indicators, and air gauging equipment
- Test, inspect, and assemble injection components
- Perform various administrative tasks as required
- Previous experience within a mechanical discipline (automotive, HGV, plant, etc.)
- Previous experience with diesel engines
- Manual machining experience highly beneficial
- Experience in superfinishing is advantageous
- Must be detail-oriented and results-driven
- Able to work within a team and independently
- Able to handle time and output pressure
- Must be within a commutable distance of Egham
- Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 DOE
- Full-time: Monday to Friday 08:00am - 18:00pm
- Overtime available on request
- 28 days holiday (including bank holidays)
- Pension
