About the Role
Achieving for Children is seeking a dedicated and compassionate D1 Home to School Driver to join our team. As a D1 Home to School Driver, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and timely transportation of special educational needs (SEN) children to and from school.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure vehicles are fit for purpose and meet the necessary safety standards
- Adhere to agreed collection, drop-off, and journey times to ensure punctuality and reliability
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all passengers, including those with special needs
- Collaborate effectively with passenger assistants to provide a high-quality service
About You
We are looking for an individual who is passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of children and young people. To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:
- Evidence of prioritizing the needs of children and young people
- A focus on delivering high-quality services and maintaining a high standard of professionalism
- A commitment to promoting inclusion and valuing diversity
- Experience working with vulnerable children and young people
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
