About the Role

Achieving for Children is seeking a dedicated and compassionate D1 Home to School Driver to join our team. As a D1 Home to School Driver, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and timely transportation of children with special educational needs (SEN) between their homes and schools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure vehicles are fit for purpose and meet the necessary safety standards
  • Adhere to agreed collection, drop-off, and journey times to ensure punctuality and reliability
  • Ensure the safety and welfare of all passengers, including those with SEN
  • Work effectively with passenger assistants to provide a supportive and inclusive environment

About You

  • Evidence of prioritizing the needs of children and young people
  • A focus on delivering high-quality services that meet the needs of our clients
  • A commitment to championing inclusion and valuing diversity
  • Experience working with vulnerable children and young people
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
