AWE Plc is seeking an experienced Location and Workplace Strategy Lead to join our People & Places function. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive locations strategy that aligns with the overall business goals of the company.

This will involve working closely with senior leaders and various stakeholders to forecast location needs based on strategic workforce plans, including employee growth and location projections, and talent sourcing strategies. The Location and Workplace Strategy Lead will also be responsible for putting employees at the heart of the design process by listening to their needs and wants and creating great experiences. This may include engagement with recognised trade unions.

The ideal candidate will have experience in developing a workplace strategy that includes employee experience, implementing workplace changes that require employee consultation, and creating a workplace solution that meets multiple organisational requirements. They will also have excellent stakeholder management skills, including very senior internal and external stakeholders, and knowledge and understanding of best practice in facilities management and the risks associated with employer workplaces.

We estimate that the salary for this role will be around £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
