At NES Fircroft Ltd, we are seeking an Offshore Instrumentation Specialist to join our team based in Norwich. This 12-month contract position offers a unique opportunity to work on offshore platforms in the UK North Sea, operating and maintaining processing facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with a team of multi-skilled technicians and operators to ensure safe and efficient operation of offshore processing facilities.
  • Plan and execute preventative maintenance tasks according to industry standards and procedures, minimizing production impact.
  • Provide assistance for projects, working closely with vendors and subcontractors as required.
  • Manage spares and test gases to facilitate testing and calibration of gas monitors.
  • Perform maintenance on Fire and Gas Detection systems.

In addition to the above responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills through training and certification programs, including CompEx - Units Ex01-04, Piping Joint Integrity Training & in-date assessment (MJI10 - ECITB Approved), and more.

We are looking for individuals with at least 5 years' experience working in the onshore/offshore oil and gas industry, holding a time-served trade apprenticeship.

This role offers a competitive salary range of £50,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience.
