Job Description

The Automotive Team Lead will be accountable for the smooth running of the workshop team on a day-to-day basis. Key responsibilities include allocating jobs to the workshop team based on technical requirement and customer demand, as well as holding daily huddles to ensure all colleagues are updated on commercial priorities and focused on exceeding customer expectations.

This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire and mentor the workshop team to develop their technical capabilities. The successful candidate will also provide technical support to the team where demand requires it, while promoting the Halfords values and instilling these in the team.

In addition, the Automotive Team Lead will have the opportunity to progress their career at Halfords, with access to hybrid training and IMI-approved continuous development fully supported.
