Senior Allied Health Professional Lead

Livewell Southwest CIC is seeking a highly experienced Allied Health Professional to lead our healthcare services. The successful candidate will have a strong background in healthcare and social care, with experience in senior leadership roles. They will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve healthcare services, working closely with local health and social care partners.
The ideal candidate will have a postgraduate qualification in a relevant field, such as a Master's degree in Healthcare Management or a related field. They will also have experience in project management, budget management, and people management. Additionally, they will have a strong understanding of national health and social care policy and be able to apply this knowledge to improve healthcare services.
The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will be able to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, social care workers, and local authorities. They will also be able to lead and manage a team of healthcare professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality healthcare services.

- Develop a detailed understanding of all AHP services that reflects their diversity and commonality.
- Lead on strategic planning, service modernisation, AHP workforce and workload planning, AHP education, research training & development and quality of AHP interventions in relation to professional standards, health & social care governance.
- Work alongside local health and social care partners ensuring a robust and consistent AHP strategy for Plymouth, South Hams and West Devon (SHWD) and the wider STP.
- Lead on relevant AHP policies.
- Provide leadership and direction with respect to the organisations responsibilities for delivering adult social care strategic aims and objectives.
