About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Neonatal Intensive Care Sister/Charge Nurse to join our team at the Royal London Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and dedicated nurse to develop their skills and increase their knowledge in a tertiary level neonatal setting.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will provide support to members of the neonatal team, assessing care needs, developing and implementing care plans, and setting standards. They will also deliver education and training programs, incorporating mandatory training, clinical, and enhanced skills within neonatology.

Person Specification

Essential

  • Registered Nurse, Children's Nurse, or Midwife
  • Mentorship and assessment in the clinical area or equivalent
  • Neonatal course (all modules)

Desirable

  • Neonatal Life Support

Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a good level of skill in computer usage, awareness of current issues and reforms in the NHS and neonatal services, and an excellent understanding of safeguarding issues. They will also have experience of good budgetary control and efficient use of resources, and a desire for service improvement and efficiencies.
