Siphonic Support Operative Role

We are seeking a skilled Siphonic Support Operative to join our Maintenance Division at NSS. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for working on reactive and planned maintenance jobs, ensuring the efficient operation of our siphonic drainage systems.

About the Role:

As a Siphonic Support Operative, you will work in teams to carry out repairs to existing siphonic systems, including cutting out and replacing blocked pipework, changing flex seal couplers to electrofusion sleeves, and general repair work to inadequate systems.

You will also be responsible for installing new supplementary secondary systems and overflow 'spitters' to bring the overall rainwater protection in line with current British standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out repairs to existing siphonic systems
  • Install new supplementary secondary systems and overflow 'spitters'
  • General service, unlocking, and problem detection of Siphonic Rainwater systems

Requirements:

  • Flexibility with working hours, including early starts and late finishes
  • Availability to work away from home, Monday to Friday
  • Full UK driving licence (maximum 6 points)
