Viamaster's Finance Role
We are seeking a skilled Financial Operations Manager to join our team at Viamaster. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions and records, overseeing sales and purchase ledger management, bank receipts and payments, credit control, and supplier account reconciliation.
- Sales and Purchase Ledger Management: Maintain accurate records of sales and purchase transactions, ensuring timely and efficient processing.
- Bank Receipts and Payments: Control and monitor bank transactions, reconcile bank statements, and minimize risks associated with foreign currency transactions.
- Credit Control: Implement effective credit control procedures, monitor customer accounts, chase payments, and manage credit limits to optimize cash flow.
- Reconciliation of Supplier Accounts: Reconcile supplier accounts, maintain awareness of exchange rates, and take proactive steps to minimize potential risks.
- Reporting: Produce cost and sales reports using financial systems, providing valuable insights for management decision-making.
- Proficient in Excel and Sage Line 50.
- Previous experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of accounting principles.
- A good knowledge of bookkeeping is required.
Salary Estimate: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
