Job Title: Clinical Pharmacist Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacist Specialist to join our team at London Bridge Hospital. As a Clinical Pharmacist Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery and evaluation of clinical pharmacy services to all Oncology services at our hospital.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a high-quality clinical pharmacy service that meets the needs of patients and healthcare professionals within our hospital.
- Support the implementation of medicine management systems concerned with Oncology and Acute Care services.
- Act as a role model in the oncology pharmacy field and undertake clinical supervision of pharmacy staff and teaching of nursing and medical staff.
- Be professionally accountable for any pharmacy function for which you assume responsibility.
Requirements:
- Member of the General Pharmaceutical Council, with a BPharm, MPharm or BSC in Pharmacy.
- Additional postgraduate clinical qualification e.g. Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy or other relevant post-graduation qualification.
- Extensive hospital experience essential.
- Member of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society is desirable.
- Experience in a clinical specialist area – e.g. Oncology and Acute Medicine is highly desirable.
