About the Role
">We are seeking a skilled SEN Tutor to join our team in the Bury St Edmunds area. As an SEN Tutor, you will work closely with students who have been absent from education for an extended period, helping them to regain confidence and achieve their qualifications.
">Key Responsibilities:
">* Delivering individualised tuition sessions to meet each student's unique needs
* Building strong relationships with students, parents, and other professionals involved in their care
* Identifying areas of strength and weakness, and adapting teaching strategies accordingly
* Maintaining accurate records of student progress and achievements
Requirements:
">* 2+ years' experience working with students with SEN/SEMH and challenging behaviours
* Proven ability to deliver core subjects according to individual needs
* Excellent behaviour management skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust with students and their families
