About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Psychologist Assistant to join our multidisciplinary team in Suffolk, UK.

The successful candidate will have a keen interest and experience of working with people with learning disabilities and/or autism, and will be an integral part of a dynamic team providing high-quality services to individuals with mental health difficulties or challenging behaviors.

Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside experienced clinicians, including psychologists, nurses, and occupational therapists, and contribute to the delivery of psychologically informed assessments, formulations, and interventions.

Main Responsibilities
  • Support the delivery of psychological services to individuals with learning disabilities and/or autism.
  • Contribute to service development projects, including evaluating outcomes and writing reports.
  • Work collaboratively with individuals, families, support services, and other professionals to provide effective care.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A BPS-accredited degree in Psychology.
  • Experience of working with people with learning disabilities and/or autism.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
