Nurse Practitioner in Addiction Services

We are recruiting for a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner in Addiction Services to join our team at North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide expert care and support to patients in need. With a strong background in nursing and experience working with vulnerable populations, you will be passionate about promoting health and wellbeing in our community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with addiction issues
- Provide evidence-based interventions to address complex needs, including medication management and behavioral therapies
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and optimal outcomes
- Deliver education and training sessions to promote addiction awareness and healthy lifestyle choices
Requirements:
- Degree-qualified Registered Nurse with current registration
- Minimum 3 years post-registration experience in a relevant field, including experience working with addiction populations
- Proven track record of providing expert care and support to vulnerable individuals
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with ability to inspire and motivate others
- Proficient in using electronic patient records and other clinical software
Salary: £37,338 - £44,962 per annum (pro rata) depending on experience
Contract: Fixed-term (6 months)
Working Pattern: Full-time
