Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our Financial Crime MI Team at NatWest. As a Data Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of high-quality business solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform data extraction, storage, manipulation, processing, and analysis to ensure data quality and identify data inconsistencies and missing data.
  • Develop and perform standard queries to support business decision-making.
  • Collect, profile, and map appropriate data to use in new or existing solutions.
  • Identify and document data migration paths and processes, standardising data naming, data definitions, and modelling.
  • Collaborate with key business stakeholders to interpret customer needs and turn them into functional or data requirements and process models.

Requirements

  • Competent experience of Tableau and SQL, with the ability to deliver data analysis and reporting in a technology or IT function.
  • Working understanding of Snowflake and AWS technologies.
  • Knowledge of DataGrip and other data tooling.
  • In-depth understanding of the interrelationships of data and multiple data domains.
  • Background in delivering research based on qualitative and quantitative data across a range of subjects.
  • Working knowledge of the Agile framework.
