Job Title: IT Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive IT Support Specialist to join our team at Skills Alliance.

About the Role

This is a 6-month contract position, working on-site in Stevenage. The successful candidate will be responsible for the implementation, support, and administration of operational technology (OT) systems critical to our biopharmaceutical laboratories and manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement, support, and administer OT hardware, software, and infrastructure
  • Ensure seamless integration with PC systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive proactive solutions and address issues promptly
  • Stay informed about emerging technologies relevant to the biopharmaceutical industry OT and manufacturing
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and support the team in guiding the organisation on how best to implement these innovations
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in IT design, build, and operational support
  • ~3+ years in a similar role, supporting systems in a laboratory or manufacturing environment, ideally in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry
  • Hands-on experience with IT infrastructure, networking, Active Directory (AD), and Windows operating systems
