About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Housing Business Support Assistant to join our team at Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited. As a key member of our team, you will provide administrative support to our housing department, ensuring the smooth operation of our services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the housing team, including responding to internal and external communications, and managing data related to housing management functions.
  • Act as the first point of contact for general and tenant enquiries, providing excellent customer service and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Assist with the creation and updating of housing register applications, and process data related to housing management functions.
  • Take telephone payments for various charges, and raise purchase orders and process payment requests.
  • Scan, index, and distribute housing-related documents, and handle post and inbox duties.
  • Monitor and order stationery and cleaning supplies for Supported Housing stock.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to deal with both internal and external customers.
  • Ability to use initiative to handle enquiries and solve problems, and to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in administrative support and data processing, with a strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
