Project Engineer Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Project Engineer to join Probe UK, a world-leading engineering manufacturer with over 45 years of experience. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for leading technically complex projects and ensuring their successful delivery on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contract Review and Management
  • Engineering and Planning
  • Project Delivery and Coordination
  • Continuous Improvement and Quality Assurance
  • Documentation and Compliance

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in precision engineering, experience in manufacturing routings, and a good understanding of project management methodologies. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work unsupervised and use their own initiative.

Requirements:
  • Project Engineer experience in a regulated industry
  • Qualified to HNC level minimum
  • Precision engineering background and experience in machining
  • Experience of manufacturing routings and complex engineering drawings
  • Good working knowledge of project management methodologies
  • CAD/CAM experience in a relevant software package
  • Competence in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Project
