Project Engineer Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Project Engineer to join a leading engineering manufacturer with a rich history of innovation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering technically complex projects and assemblies for high-profile UK projects and programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead technical projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed manufacturing best practices and drive continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including resource allocation and risk management.
  • Ensure compliance with our Quality Management System and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Proactively assist the Document Quality Team in creating documentation packs for designated projects.
Requirements
  • Minimum HNC level qualification in a relevant field, with experience in precision engineering and regulated industries.
  • Strong technical leadership skills, with the ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and define methods of manufacture.
  • Experience with manufacturing routings, CAD/CAM software, and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Project.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work unsupervised and use initiative.
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary range of £43,000 - £48,000, negotiable for the right candidate.
