Project Engineer Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Project Engineer to join our team at findapprenticeships.co - Jobboard. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for leading technically complex projects and ensuring their successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contract Review and Management
  • Engineering and Planning
  • Deliver project commitments on time and within budget
  • Continuous Improvement and Quality Management
  • Pro-actively assist the Document Quality Team with the creation of Documentation Packs

Requirements:

  • Project Engineer experience within a precision engineering business in a regulated industry
  • Qualified to HNC level minimum, with Apprentice Trained candidates ideal
  • Precision engineering background, exposure to machining, and hands-on experience
  • Experience of manufacturing routings and complex engineering drawings
  • Good working knowledge of Project Management methodologies and CAD/CAM software
  • Competence in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Project

Candidate Soft Skills:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Capable of working un-supervised and using own initiative
  • Good eye for detail

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary range of £46,000 - £52,000 (negotiable)
  • 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with 2:00pm finish on Fridays
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
  • Onsite parking and sick pay

Security Clearance:

Due to the security level of the projects we work on, British Nationality is required for this role.
