To be considered for this role, you should have an electrical apprenticeship and experience working in a heavy engineering manufacturing environment.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team at Teesworks, a leading steel pipe manufacturer in the UK. The salary range for this position is £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience. Benefits include 34 days' holiday, employer-matched contributory pension scheme, paid sick pay entitlement, access to life insurance, and access to an on-site gym.

Responsibilities and Expectations:

  • Ensure the safe operation of electrical systems and equipment.
  • Respond to plant breakdowns and machine size changes, minimizing plant downtime.
  • Work with industrial/domestic wiring, overhead cranes, and associated safety systems.
  • Utilize PLC expertise with Allen Bradley and Siemens systems.
  • Provide expertise with AC and DC motor/gearbox drive systems of various configurations.
