Veterinary Animal Care Specialist

Purovets is a well-established, RCVS accredited small animal practice located in North Lanarkshire. With a rich history dating back to 1988, we have built a reputation for delivering exceptional veterinary care to our clients and their pets.
Our practice has undergone significant refurbishment, transforming into a bright and modern facility equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including X-ray, Ultrasound, Dentistry, an In-house laboratory, and more.
Salary & BenefitsWe offer a competitive salary range from £35,000 to £70,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, we provide RCVS, VDS fees paid, generous holiday allowance, maternity/paternity leave, and a CPD budget negotiable.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Registered Veterinary Surgeon to join our team of experienced veterinary professionals. As a member of our team, you will collaborate with Clinical Lead, 1 other Vet Surgeon, 2 nurses, and a dedicated support staff of animal care assistants and receptionists.
- Diagnose illness, prescribe medicines, and perform imaging tests, laboratory tests, and surgery
- Collaborate with the team to provide optimal care for our patients
We require a strong background in animal physiology, nutrition, and medicine. A registered veterinary surgeon qualification and excellent communication skills are essential.
