Our client manages an RCVS accredited small animal practice that has been an integral part of the community since 1988, earning a stellar reputation for delivering top-notch veterinary care. Following a significant refurbishment in 2019, the practice stands as a bright and modern facility equipped with state-of-the-art technology.

Job Description

As a member of our team, you will work alongside experienced and friendly veterinary professionals, including Clinical Lead, 1 other Vet Surgeon, 2 nurses, and a dedicated support staff of animal care assistants and receptionists. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to our patients, utilizing your knowledge of animal physiology, nutrition, and medicine to diagnose illness, prescribe medicines, and perform imaging tests, laboratory tests, and surgery.

Requirements
  • Registration with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS)
  • Valid certification in dentistry and ultrasound would be an advantage
  • Experience working in a busy veterinary practice
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends

Salary and Benefits

  • Estimated salary: £45,000 - £65,000 per year
  • RCVS, VDS fees paid
