Job Title: IT Helpdesk Admin

We are seeking a highly skilled IT professional to join our team at Interface Recruitment UK. As a key member of our IT department, you will have the opportunity to work with a supportive IT Manager and gain valuable experience to help you progress to an IT Manager role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide user support via telephone, in-person, or remote support programs for internal and external personnel
  • Maintain the active directory and group policy
  • Backup systems and verify completion of backups
  • Monitor and maintain servers and datacentres, and provide helpdesk reporting to HQ
  • Install and configure hardware and software, including desktops, laptops, industrial equipment, and peripherals
  • Install and update networking equipment and patching
  • Purchase hardware, software licenses, and consumables
  • Provide SAP ERP/CRM user support, with training provided as necessary
  • Support mobile apps on iOS and set up devices using an MDM
Requirements:
  • 2 years' experience as a systems administrator with a formal qualification
  • Experience with Windows for clients and servers (Windows 7, 10, 2008 R Server)
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office
  • SAP experience desirable, but not essential (training will be provided)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a pressurised environment
  • Good communication skills at all levels
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and meet targets
