About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Community Mental Health Team in East Cornwall. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to individuals with mental health needs, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based interventions.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement occupational therapy plans to support individuals with mental health needs, using a client-centered approach.
  • Conduct assessments and provide interventions to promote independence, well-being, and quality of life.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
  • Contribute to the development of occupational therapy services and best practice initiatives within the Trust.
  • Support the development of occupational therapy support worker roles within the team.
