About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at Protocol Education. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in our schools across Sheffield.

Your primary responsibility will be to provide individualized support to students, helping them to access the curriculum and achieve their full potential. You will work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement personalized learning plans, ensuring that each student receives the support they need to succeed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one-to-one support to students with SEND, helping them to access the curriculum and achieve their learning goals.
  • Work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement personalized learning plans.
  • Assist with the delivery of lessons, including preparing materials and resources.
  • Support students with challenging behavior, using strategies to de-escalate and manage incidents.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure that students receive the support they need.
