Employee Relations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Employee Relations Specialist to join our team at Frasers Group. As a key member of our HR function, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of our business objectives and ensuring that our employees are equipped to succeed.
Key Responsibilities- Employee Relations Support: Provide proactive support to employees and managers on a range of employee relations issues, including disciplinary, grievance, and absence management.
- Policy and Procedure Guidance: Offer guidance and advice on company policies and procedures, as well as employment legislation, to ensure compliance and best practice.
- Manager Development: Create a positive employee relations approach by supporting, coaching, and upskilling managers to fulfill their people management responsibilities.
- Operational Support: Provide operational support and advice on employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, appeals, and redundancy consultation processes.
- Case Management: Manage an allocated employee relations case load, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues.
- Performance Metrics: Work with the management team to drive performance on key people metrics, including employee engagement, absence, and turnover.
- Proven Experience: Proven track record in a similar ER/HR role, with experience of handling ER cases, including disciplinary and grievance, appeals, absence management, and redundancy.
- Knowledge and Skills: Up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation, including GDPR, and high-level discretion and confidentiality.
- Personal Qualities: Resilient, flexible, assertive, and confident in approach, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to work under pressure, manage and prioritize a busy and varied workload, and solve problems in a fast-paced business environment.
