About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Registered Nurse to join our multi-disciplinary team, providing high-quality specialist palliative care to patients and their families within our in-patient facilities.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead the team of Registered Nurses in the assessment, development, implementation, and evaluation of holistic patient care.
  • Work alongside the Ward Sister to ensure seamless care within the hospice and other healthcare settings.
  • Identify and mitigate Health and Safety risks and incidents within the clinical area.
  • Ensure compliance with CQC reporting requirements and engage staff in key lines of enquiry.
  • Develop and implement training programs for the clinical team.
Requirements
  • 1st Level Registered Nurse qualification.
  • Palliative care study or course.
  • Advanced communication training.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills.
  • Ability to communicate with staff and keep them motivated.
  • High level of understanding of IT skills and Microsoft programs.
