About the Role:

TalentHawk is seeking an experienced Operational Resilience Manager to join our team. This role is designed to provide a holistic view of Operational Resilience, integrating Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) with Business Continuity Management (BCM). The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding and mentoring junior team members in both BCM and Risk Management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessments & Audits: Conduct and support assessments and audits to ensure adherence to ISO 27001, NIST CSF, and other relevant frameworks, identifying areas for enhancement and providing clients with a comprehensive analysis of their compliance status.
  • Incident Response: Develop and implement incident response plans tailored to specific client requirements, ensuring readiness and effective response to potential disruptions.
  • Consulting Services: Offer general consulting services, providing expert guidance on governance, risk, compliance, and business continuity matters.
  • Reporting & Recommendations: Prepare comprehensive reports and actionable recommendations aimed at improving clients' security posture and enhancing their overall operational resilience.
  • Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring their understanding and compliance with regulations such as NCSC CAF, NIS2, and DORA.
  • BCM Programme Leadership: Lead and develop the Business Continuity Management (BCM) programme, including conducting Business Impact Analyses (BIA) and implementing BCM practices across client operations.
  • Risk Management Leadership: Oversee the Risk Management function, including updating the Risk Management Framework and aligning it with current standards.
  • Operational Resilience Integration: Provide a unified approach to Operational Resilience by integrating GRC and BCM, ensuring clients have a comprehensive strategy to withstand and recover from potential disruptions.

About You:

  • Experience: 5-7 years in a GRC consulting role with significant experience in Business Continuity Management (BCM). You should have a strong track record in leading BCM initiatives and mentoring junior staff.
  • Leadership & Mentoring: Proven experience in leading, coaching, and developing junior team members, particularly in BCM and Risk Management, ensuring they are equipped to handle their responsibilities effectively.
  • Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2, and BCM standards like ISO 22301. You should be comfortable conducting assessments, audits, and developing compliance strategies.
  • Skills: Excellent client-facing skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and deliver client-centric solutions that enhance operational resilience.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently, with a proactive approach to solving complex challenges.
  • Client-Centric: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on delivering client-centric solutions that enhance their operational resilience.
