About the Role

We are seeking an experienced GRC Consultant to join our team at Locke and McCloud, a leading cyber security and information security staffing company. As a GRC Consultant, you will play a key role in helping our clients navigate the complex world of governance, risk, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Assessments and Audits: Conduct and support assessments and audits to ensure adherence to ISO 27001, NIST CSF, and other relevant frameworks, while identifying areas for enhancement and providing clients with an analysis of their compliance status.
  • Develop Incident Response Plans: Develop and implement incident response plans tailored to specific client requirements.
  • Offer Consulting Services: Offer general consulting services, providing expert guidance on governance, risk, and compliance matters.
  • Prepare Reports and Recommendations: Prepare comprehensive reports and recommendations aimed at improving clients' security posture.
  • Build Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Assist with Compliance: Assist clients in understanding and complying with NCSC CAF, NIS2, and DORA regulations when applicable.
About You
  • Experience: 2-4 years in a GRC consulting role.
  • Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST, and SOC 2.
  • Skills: Proven ability to conduct assessments, audits, and develop compliance strategies.
  • Client-Facing Skills: Excellent client-facing skills.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work as part of a team, as well as being able to work independently.
