Neurology Nurse Specialist Epilepsy Position

Job Summary:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Epilepsy Specialist Nurse to join our highly skilled and experienced team at The Walton Centre in Liverpool. As part of our ongoing commitment to advancing nursing practice, this role will play a key part in delivering high-quality and safe services to patients across the Cheshire and Merseyside region.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for working autonomously and will be expected to possess excellent theoretical and practical knowledge and experience of Neurosciences. Key responsibilities will include providing expert professional advice, guidance and support to patients, carers and relevant professionals, as well as being a point of contact to provide expert medication management for patients with long term neurological conditions.

Person Specification:
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Epilepsy Specialist Nurse who is passionate about delivering high-quality care to patients. Key qualifications and skills include current NMC registration, a 1st-level degree relevant to clinical specialty, and a portfolio to show evidence and experience in Long Term Neurological Conditions. The ideal candidate will also have a willingness and ability to work towards a masters-level qualification and Non-medical prescribing.
