Neurology Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated A&E General Nurse to join our team at The Walton Centre NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our neurology ward, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the delivery of high-quality services.
Key Responsibilities:- Participate in Team Nursing: Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive patient care, ensuring seamless transitions and effective communication.
- Escalate Patient Conditions: Identify and escalate patient concerns, medical instructions, and implement necessary interventions to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Safeguard Patient Property: Ensure the security and integrity of patient belongings and valuables, adhering to trust policies and procedures.
- Rehabilitation and Training: Participate in the rehabilitation of patients with neurological disorders, providing education and training to other nursing staff as needed.
- Coordinator Role: Undertake aspects of the coordinator's role, ensuring efficient workflow and effective communication within the team.
- Adhere to Trust Policies: Maintain awareness and adherence to all trust policies, procedures, and standards of care, ensuring a high standard of nursing practice.
- Named Nurse: Participate as a named nurse for 8-9 patients, providing individualized care and attention to their needs.
- Equipment and Stores: Be aware of the economic use of ward equipment and stores, ensuring efficient management and minimizing waste.
- Confidentiality and Infection Control: Ensure confidentiality at all times, adhering to the Data Protection Act 1984, and maintain a high standard of infection control, adhering to the Control of Infection Guidelines.
