Primary SEN Teacher Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Primary Teacher to join our team at a primary SEN school in Penzance. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching a small mixed Year 1 and 2 class, consisting of 7 children with complex ASC needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach a small class of children with complex ASC needs
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to meet the needs of the children
  • Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants to provide a supportive learning environment
  • Monitor and assess the progress of the children, identifying areas for improvement
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers to ensure a smooth transition for the children

Requirements:

  • QTS qualification
  • Experience working with children with complex ASC needs
  • Ability to work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants
  • Organised approach to the curriculum
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of attainment, progress, and behaviour

What We Offer:

  • Competitive daily rate pro-rata from M1-UPS3 pay scale (£28,000 - £43,685)
