About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Long-term Teachers Ltd. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of children with special educational needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with SEN, both in and out of the classroom.
- Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering differentiated lessons to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Implement individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies as directed by the SENCO.
- Monitor and track the progress of students with SEN, providing feedback to the class teacher and SENCO.
- Support students during transitions between activities and ensure their safety and well-being at all times.
