About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Student Support Worker in Penzance. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with students who require additional support, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve their goals.

School Information
  • Location: Penzance
  • Position: Student Support Worker
  • Contract: Temporary to permanent (Long-term)
  • Hours: Full-time, 8.30am
  • Pay Rate: £77.85 per day
Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with students with SEMH needs, providing guidance and assistance to help them develop strategies to manage challenging behaviour.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to develop and implement personalized plans for students.
Requirements
  • Experience working with students with SEN (ideally in an SEN/SEMH setting)
  • Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to engage with students
  • Resilient, charismatic, and compassionate
  • Up to date Safeguarding training (Teaching Personnel can provide this)
