Chef De Partie Role

To succeed in this role, you will assist in running the kitchen, contributing to the overall success of the restaurant, outlet, and banquets, in accordance with our client's standards and financial goals.

  1. Organise and set up your assigned section of the Food, Beverage, and Kitchens as efficiently as possible to increase speed and maximise productivity.
  2. Assist Sous Chefs and Executive Chef in ensuring all culinary standards comply with company policies and Standard Operating Procedures.
  3. Monitor food and operating costs and control these by reducing waste.
  4. Train kitchen porters in your section on necessary skills to perform their function.
  5. Work in any sections of the kitchen when necessary or as requested by Senior Sous Chef or Executive Chef.
  6. Familiarise yourself with all sections of the kitchen to facilitate flexible use of colleagues.
  7. Provide fast, friendly, professional, and responsive customer service to the restaurant service delivery team.
  8. Apply proper kitchen safety procedures and basic cooking skills.
  9. Set up, operate, and clean all kitchen machinery/equipment and store it in its proper place.
  10. Able to work a flexible schedule and late hours when necessary.
  11. Prior experience working within a similar-sized kitchen is preferable.
