Adult Social Care Lawyer Opportunity

We are seeking a qualified Adult Social Care Lawyer to join our team at Northumberland County Council.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise in-house clients and colleagues on Adult Social Care issues, including safeguarding, capacity, and mental health.
  • Liaise with external bodies, such as private practice law firms and counsel.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of Adult Social Care law.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives with a current practicing certificate.
  • Existing knowledge of Adult Social Care law is preferred.

Working Arrangements:

The role offers flexible working arrangements, including office-based work in County Hall, Morpeth, and the opportunity to work on a hybrid office/home basis.
