We are seeking a qualified Adult Social Care Lawyer to join our team at Northumberland County Council.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise in-house clients and colleagues on Adult Social Care issues, including safeguarding, capacity, and mental health.
- Liaise with external bodies, such as private practice law firms and counsel.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of Adult Social Care law.
Requirements:
- Qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives with a current practicing certificate.
- Existing knowledge of Adult Social Care law is preferred.
Working Arrangements:
The role offers flexible working arrangements, including office-based work in County Hall, Morpeth, and the opportunity to work on a hybrid office/home basis.
