About the Role
This is a unique opportunity to join LGC Group as a Senior Programme Manager, where you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our health and social care innovation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Programme Manager, you will be responsible for supporting all aspects of translational funding, including scoping potential call themes, advising applicants, reviewing applications for funding, and providing feedback to applicants.
You will also lead on continuous improvement activities across the team, draft work instructions as appropriate, and undertake due diligence of funding proposals, including reviewing the scientific, technical, and clinical rationale, analysis of project budgets, and evaluation of proposed intellectual property protection and freedom to operate positions.
Additionally, you will negotiate funding agreements for projects recommended for funding, manage a portfolio of projects at various stages of development across different health tech sectors, and lead on portfolio analysis and collection of relevant metrics to support activities around programme promotion, business intelligence, impact, and evaluation.
Qualifications and Experience
We are looking for an individual with an excellent understanding of the health and social care innovation ecosystem, including product development and the translational research pathway. You should have a strong educational background in biomedical, health, or engineering sciences and relevant experience in research management, technology transfer, or a similar environment.
