About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated AI Research Engineer to join our team at Onyx-Conseil. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for conducting pioneering research in Multimodal AI, developing advanced solutions, and proposing innovative research challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct research to develop and improve Multimodal Foundation Models, focusing on areas such as Visual Language Models, Large Language Models, Vision Transformers, and Diffusion Models.
  2. Develop high-quality, well-documented code to support reproducible research within local and international AI research communities.
  3. Publish research findings in top-tier conferences and journals.
Requirements
  1. PhD student or recent graduate in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
  2. Proficiency in fundamental topics of mathematics and computer science.
  3. Experience with general-purpose programming languages such as Python, Java, C, and C++.
  4. Proven research output in Multimodal Foundation Models, specifically in Visual Language Models, Large Language Models, Vision Transformers, or Diffusion Models.
Desirable Qualifications
  1. Familiarity with software libraries and frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, SciKits, Kaldi, OpenCV, and CUDA.
  2. Background in software engineering and development.
  3. Relevant experience through internships or research positions in academic or industrial R&D labs.
  4. Capability to design and implement a comprehensive research agenda.
