About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Agent to join our team at Kier Group. As a Site Agent, you will be responsible for the on-site delivery of civil construction works for a new substation being constructed by UK Power Networks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and monitor Health and Safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Manage subcontractors and direct labour within a multi-trade environment, including procurement and oversight.
  • Ensure all statutory inspections are completed and maintain the Construction Phase Plan.
  • Develop and maintain quality plans, implement ITPs, record sheets, NCRs, and defects.
  • Contribute to monthly client reporting and progress meetings.
Requirements
  • Sound knowledge of NEC3 Contracts, including Early Warning Notices and Compensation Events.
  • Proven experience managing civil works contracts.
  • Relevant qualifications such as CSCS/EUSR, SMSTS, CITB Temporary Works, CSCS Appointed Person, and IOSH/NEBOSH certification.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
