Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Endoscopy Team Leader to join our Theatre Team at Nuffield Health Cambridge Hospital. As a key member of our clinical operations team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Endoscopy Suite, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Endoscopy Team in the delivery of patient care, ensuring that all patients receive the highest standard of care and treatment.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Endoscopy Suite.
  • Work closely with consultants, hospital senior leaders, and other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients benefit from the best possible treatment and care.
  • Contribute to the development of our service, including the implementation of new procedures and protocols.
  • Ensure that the Endoscopy Suite is run in accordance with JAG accreditation standards.

Requirements

  • Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council or HCPC.
  • Extensive experience of managing endoscopy patients, particularly in JAG accredited environments.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the Global Rating Scale and JAG accreditation.
  • Minimum of 3 years' senior experience working in a similar setting.
  • Qualification in teaching and mentoring experience.
  • Clinical assessment skills and physical examination course desirable.
