Endoscopy Team Leader Opportunity
Nuffield Health is seeking an experienced Endoscopy Team Leader to join our Theatre Team at Cambridge Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Endoscopy Suite, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our service.
The Role
- Contribute to the development of our Endoscopy service, including policy, procedure, and strategy implementation.
- Support individuals and teams to deliver high-quality patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Lead the day-to-day management of the Endoscopy unit, working collaboratively with consultants, hospital senior leaders, and healthcare professionals.
- Ensure patients benefit from the best possible treatment and care, working closely with consultants and other healthcare professionals.
The Person
- Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council or HCPC, with postgraduate qualifications and extensive experience in managing endoscopy patients.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Global Rating Scale and JAG accreditation, with evidence of endoscopy competency through the JETS Workforce program.
- Minimum of 3 years' senior experience working in a similar setting, with a qualification in teaching and mentoring experience.
- Accountable for leading, motivating, educating, and supervising the Endoscopy Team, with professional management experience and skills in business planning, development, audits, clinical governance, infection prevention, health and safety, and risk analysis.
