Endoscopy Team Leader Opportunity

Nuffield Health is seeking an experienced Endoscopy Team Leader to join our Theatre Team at Cambridge Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Endoscopy Suite, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our service.

The Role

  • Contribute to the development of our Endoscopy service, including policy implementation and strategy development.
  • Support the delivery of high-quality patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Lead the Endoscopy Team, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of excellent patient care.
  • Collaborate with consultants, hospital senior leaders, and healthcare professionals to ensure patients receive the best possible treatment and care.

The Person

  • Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council or HCPC, with a postgraduate qualification in a relevant field.
  • Extensive experience in managing endoscopy patients, particularly in JAG accredited environments.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the Global Rating Scale and JAG accreditation, with evidence of endoscopy competency through the JETS Workforce program.
  • Minimum of 3 years' senior experience working in a similar setting.
  • Qualification in teaching and mentoring experience, with clinical assessment skills and a physical examination course desirable.
