Physics Instructor for a Secondary School

We are excited to be recruiting for an enthusiastic and skilled Physics Teacher to join a dynamic secondary school in Whitstable. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire and educate students in one of the most fascinating subjects within the sciences.
The successful candidate will have the chance to nurture young minds, help them develop a deep understanding of physics, and ignite their passion for the subject. As a Physics Teacher at our school, you will play a crucial role in shaping the next generation of scientists and thinkers.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging Physics lessons in line with the national curriculum, ensuring that students receive high-quality education.
- Create a stimulating and supportive learning environment that encourages students to achieve their potential and reach their full academic capacity.
- Assess, record, and report on the progress and development of students, providing constructive feedback to help them improve.
- Support students in their academic journey, helping them to prepare for GCSE and A-Level exams and beyond.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to ensure the best learning outcomes and provide a cohesive educational experience for all students.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, demonstrating your commitment to teaching and education.
- A degree in Physics or a related field, showcasing your expertise in the subject area.
- Strong knowledge of the KS3, KS4, and KS5 Physics curriculum, allowing you to effectively plan and deliver lessons.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills, enabling you to work effectively with students, colleagues, and parents.
- A passion for teaching and the ability to engage and motivate students, making learning enjoyable and interactive.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one), ensuring your suitability to work with children.
