We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Youth Development Officer to join our team at Ultimate Activity Camps. As a Youth Development Officer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality sports and activities sessions while ensuring the welfare and safety of children on camp.

About the Job

  • Sports and Activities Sessions: You will deliver engaging sports and activities sessions for children aged 4– 14 years, promoting participation, care, and development.
  • Pool Safety: You will be responsible for maintaining a safe and clean pool area during swimming sessions.
  • Welfare and Safety: You will continuously promote the welfare of children in your care and adhere to all health and safety, and safeguarding procedures.

Requirements

  • Lifeguard Qualification: You must hold a Qualified Lifeguard (NARS or NPLQ) certificate with a minimum depth in line with the facilities at the camp you apply to work at.
  • Experience Working with Children: You should have experience of working with children in a childcare setting and be confident in your ability to lead a group of children.
  • Flexible Team Player: You must be a flexible team player, able to adapt to dynamic situations and challenges on camp.
