Role Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Aspiring Youth Justice Worker to join our team at The School, a specialist educational institution catering to students with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs.

This rewarding role offers the opportunity to work in a unique environment, focusing on individual happiness and well-being, where students can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping children and young people achieve their full potential, possess excellent interpersonal skills, and be able to build confidence and motivation in their students.

A competitive daily rate of £90-£110 applies, and no previous experience is required. However, applicants must have the right to work in the UK.

Job Description

This challenging yet fulfilling position involves working with vulnerable children, building strong relationships, and increasing engagement, attainment, and life chances.

You will be part of a holistic and therapeutic practice, aiming to ensure students do not enter the criminal justice system.

A range of key responsibilities includes:

  • Becoming an integral member of the school's support team
  • Developing robust relationships with students, colleagues, and external partners
  • Working collaboratively to create a safe and nurturing environment
  • Maintaining accurate records and contributing to safeguarding efforts
