Sefton is seeking a highly skilled and experienced School Leadership professional to fill the role of Assistant Head of Year. This position presents an exciting opportunity for a versatile individual with experience in working with children, excellent interpersonal skills, and confidence in their abilities.

The Role

This Term Time Only position comes with 33.92 hours per week (Monday to Friday) and offers a competitive salary range of £27,711 to £31,067 per annum (pro-rata). The successful candidate will be expected to work closely with teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure the well-being and academic success of our students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Senior Leadership Team in maintaining a positive and inclusive school culture
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff to enhance student outcomes
  • Maintain accurate records and report on student progress
  • Assist with staff supervision and development
  • Participate in school events and activities as required
