Key Responsibilities- Production Planning and Control: Develop and implement production plans to meet customer demands and achieve business objectives.
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of production staff to achieve departmental targets and improve overall efficiency.
- Quality and Safety: Ensure that all production activities are carried out in accordance with quality and safety procedures, and that any issues are promptly addressed.
- Inventory Management: Oversee the management of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods to ensure optimal inventory levels and minimize waste.
- Labour Management: Manage labour utilization to ensure that production targets are met, and that labour costs are optimized.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular reports on production performance, and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Experience: Proven experience in a production management role, preferably in the food manufacturing industry.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Quality and Safety: Knowledge of quality and safety procedures, and the ability to ensure compliance.
- Inventory Management: Experience in inventory management, including the ability to optimize inventory levels and minimize waste.
- Labour Management: Experience in labour management, including the ability to optimize labour utilization and minimize costs.
